"no cd drive" error

it seems dbpoweramp cannot see the drive. I tried wmp11 to play the audio CD and it works fine.

any ideas?

version 13 and I'm using winxp x86.

Click on the options button, go down to the CD ROM section and change the "Communication" setting to "Windows Internal" and see if that helps.
