Disabling filters [LAME] & dB version question

    1. Can I somehow disable lowpass and highpass filters?

    2. Which is the official dBpoweramp minor update version? The latest one I have is from 9/29/08 (13.1). Is that the latest?

13.1 is latest, to access filters you would have to use CLI Encoder and create your own command line.

I've changed it to .m4a but it still shows "Unable to open encoder.txt".

What have you changed exactly? have you followed the help instructions when installing the CLI Encoder codec?

Well, in that folder in Encoders, I found two files: one .txt and the other with no extension. Then I "un-hid" the extensions, deleted the .txt and changed it to .m4a. But it didn't work.

I think the same will happen with .mp3.

Look at the help file that is installed with the CLI Encoder and see what it says about configuring the CLI encoder.txt file.

Also for Lame you would need to set as .mp3 not .m4a

I'm sorry, I asked a dumb question. Now I saw different encoder.txt configuration files and copied them to mine and it works perfectly.

Thank you! You can delete the thread if it's necessary.
