    folder/file structure?

    Hi,

I have been using iTunes for ripping and organizing CDs. I'd like to switch to dBpoweramp.

I found the ripped files from dBpoweramp are in a flat folder structure. In other words, all the files are under the same folder.

Is there a way to use a similar file/folder structure like iTunes?

    Thanks.

    Re: folder/file structure?

Sounds like you've told dB to output all files to one folder!

Click http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=13928 for a tutorial on ripping to any folder structure you like.

In terms of reorganising them, I'm sure there's a dB codec that'll create and populate a folder structure based on your tags, or you could use a tagging app e.g. www.mp3tag.de/en.

"Arrange Audio" will arrange the files based on the criteria you give it and the tags.
