although im not sure exactly what cdgrab.exe main function is in dbpoweramp, or if it can have problems with enhanced discs

cdgrab.exe is the cd ripping programe.

Ive reinstalled most of my video editing software, photoshop etc, and dbpoweramp is no longer restarting the system, which is good. It must have been a registry issue with something missing, but then cant be 100% since from the forum im not the only one that has had the problem. not so good is that some software i wish to put back on my xp sp2 pc will no longer do so, as many progs need microsoft net framework 2 (dotnetfx.exe) to install, and this isnt auto included on xp discs.. slightly awkward of ms not to do so. My mobile phone im on the net with right now cant install files over 2mb as they usually give up or are constantly interrupted. Haha, cant have everything. I dont think the .net framework 2 file i need is on any microsoft discs i own. Doh!

dotnetfx.exe should be downloadable from microsoft.com or microsoft update.

yeah- it is, but ive only got the net on this phone, so buggered! Lol. phone is very slow though, when connecting on its own or connecting to my pc for the net, and doesnt always give u clean files when they finish downloading, no matter what the size, even on a strong signal. unless anyone knows of any popular cd or dvd software i might have that might also include it? i might have the file somewhere if u have an idea of anything..? I think the dotnetfx was the program used to download the framework file if i remember correctly(prob not. Lol).. thanks
