    CD player data purged...

    Hmm maybe I'm confused.
I have a BenQ DW1655 player but it doesn't work with accuraterip, I am assuming because it appears that the player entry has been "purged". I say "doesn't work" because it says "key disk doesn't match value in database" even though I have previously used the same disk in another player in the same machine to configure that drive with accuraterip. I know what the offset should be for the benq but I have no idea what to do next...

    I'm using Reference 13.1

Really any drive in AccurateRip that has been purged (about 5) are the worst possible drives you could have for audio extraction.

I've not seen any obvious problems and have been using the drive for some time...I thought that the reason why the drive was purged was that individual drives with the same name had different offsets, thus making it incorrect to publish one number ? If I could discover and then set my particular drive's offset then would I not be ok ?

Some of those drives change offsets each time a cd is inserted, so are not true accuratestream.
