Full date on metadata (xxxx-xx-xx)...

What exactly does the full date for the metadata (xxxx-xx-xx) mean?

Is it the precise date the CD was pressed? The presise date the CD was published? Etc.

It would be nice to know this, considering that I do keep the dBpoweramp default of the full date rather than changing it to just the year.

It is difficult to say, even within one metadata provider it changes between the two.
