Quick questions:
1) Why does dBpoweramp default to AMG's choice of metadata even if GD3, Music Brainz, and freedb (the remaining three) agree on a different answer as compared to AMG?
2) Does anyone know how Windows Media Player pulls metadata for tagging? What services does Microsoft use?
Just curious. Though it seems to be that dBpoweramp is a far superior tool, I noticed that some tracks that were pulled off PerfectMeta were slightly different than WMP, but WMP seemed to be a little more accurate as compared to what was actually written on the CD.
And finally,
3) What is usually the default symbol that replaces a colon ( : ) in a file name considering that it is one of the few punctuation marks that are unable to be used.
Thanks,
Zeke
