    Naming scheme date problem

I'm using the default naming scheme in dbpoweramp cd ripper because I can't quite figure it out. Anyways that's fine but my problem is that on certain discs it fills out the date as "1999/03/05".

I just want the year to show up and not the specifics, can someone help me out?

Or if someone can post a naming scheme that will make my 900 disc ripping a breeze, so I won't have to go over it after I'm done. The only requests are that the date tag be just the year and each track be number starting with 01, 02, 03, etc.

    Re: Naming scheme date problem

With regard to date: in dbpoweramp cd ripper, select "options" (click on button itself not the dropdown menu), then select metadata options (and idtag). From here, scroll down to almost the bottom and check the box next to "force no date on year". This solves your main problem.

With regard to naming scheme, I use the following. It puts compilations in a separate subdirectory (with albums underneath). For noncompilations, it puts artist/album (if multidisc, it is artist/album/disc1, etc.

    Code:
    [IFCOMP]Compilations\[album] [IFMULTI] \Disc [disc][]\[track]-[title]-[album][IFMULTI]-Disc[disc][]-[artist][][IF!COMP][artist]\[album][IFMULTI] \Disc [disc][]\[track]-[title]-[album][IFMULTI]-Disc[disc][]-[artist][]

Thanks, I'm using your naming scheme now to see if that will work.

        Re: Naming scheme date problem

I'm using your naming scheme but I have one real quick question:

I've noticed that in the ID Tags the songs track numbers are showing up as:

        1/12
        2/12
        3/13
        etc

Is there a way to make it so the id tags track numbers are:

        01
        02
        03
        etc

look in the same option menu and you'll see where you can set these options.
