West Side Story: problem with ripping

I have trouble ripping the normal 1985 DGG West Side Story CD. Plays without any problems on a normal CD player. What could be the case here?

That first track length and everything looks wrong. What does another player, such as Winamp or Windows Media Player show for the track list as far as names and times?

What happens if you turn off the option to look for the hidden first track?

The disc is copy protected with a fake TOC, use the option 'defective by design'

Thanks, this worked Other options suggested didn't do the trick unfortunately.

Odd that a CD produced in 1985 would have a defective TOC.

Funny coincidence. Just today, I run into the exact same problem (hidden first track on Sarah Vaughan !VIVA!). But ripping with the 'defective by design' option didn't help. dBp just went quickly through all the tracks and marked them with 'error'...?

A hidden first track doesn't mean you need to use defective by design. That needed to be used due to the wrong values for the hidden track and track 1.
