    Lg H20l

    Hey guys,

If anyone has this drive I would be keen to know what your results are on secure ripping. In burst with a perfectly clean CD, and the cd in accuraterip, it rips accurately, but if I switch to enabling C2 errors, all of the sudden every single track has more than 1000 re-rips it must do. Something smells fishy. My firmware is 1.03. Thanks for the help !

Oh, and Spoon, if I might ask, with your recent knowledge of how drives are stacking up against each other in accuraterip statistics, if I had to buy two ata or sata drives to be used exclusively with secure ripping, what would they be? (have to be vista 64 bit friendly). Thanks !!

First indications are the drive supports c2 very badly.

I have not bought any recently released drive, recently apart from a Lite-on Superwrite (forget the extact model), it was average at ripping.

I have the same drive in my HTPC and I am seeing exactly the same behaviour.
