wav to ALAC question

Is the difference in file size (231 bytes) something I should be worried about?

DBPA rip -> wav lossless -> ALAC file size == 45,490,164 bytes
DBPA rip -> ALAC file size == 45,489,933 bytes

I care because I am converting all my wav lossless files to ALAC and am worried about fidelity.

Probably just tag padding or something that isn't enough to be worried about. If you want to make sure you didn't lose any audio data and you are using Reference, use the [Calculate Audio CRC] utility codec and compare the CRCs for both files.
