    Check Old Rips

I apologize if this has been posted, I searched first.

I was curious, is it possible to take a lossless album (flac, sha, ...) and compute a checksum on it, and build the album id's from the track listing to check with accuraterip to confirm older rips, or rips that once were not in the accuraterip db but may be at a later point, or simply to see if the confidence has gone up.

If it is possible, are there any plans for this?

I think Spoon is working on it. For wav images with cuesheets, there's http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/...howtopic=60440 .

I don't think you will be able to take just any FLAC files, you will require lossless files AND the CD-TOC.
