    UltraSecure Algorithm

I think I understand how ultra-secure works in its decision making. First I want to make sure I do, and make a suggestion.

    Pass 1: Burst
    -Match AR: Finish
-Doesn't Match AR: identify and record C2 errors and go to next step

    UltraSecure (with C2)
    Pass X: Burst
-identify and record frames with C2 errors
-has the minimum number of UltraSecure passes been performed?
--if no: go to next pass
--if yes: were new frames with C2 errors identified?
---if no: go to re-rip frames
---if yes: have the maximum number of ultrasecure passes been performed?
----if no: go to next pass
----if yes: go to re-rip frames

    Suggestion:
    UltraSecure (with C2)
    Pass X: Burst
    -does the rip match AR?
    --if yes, end

--if no: identify and record frames with C2 errors
-has the minimum number of UltraSecure passes been performed?
--if no: go to next pass
--if yes: were new frames with C2 errors identified?
---if no: go to re-rip frames
---if yes: have the maximum number of ultrasecure passes been performed?
----if no: go to next pass
----if yes: go to re-rip frames

    Re: UltraSecure Algorithm

AccurateRip is checked after each pass, or ultrapass, and crosschecks on small areas (bad part from pass 1 with good part form pass2), before re-ripping.

      Re: UltraSecure Algorithm

Ok, thanks for clarifying. It seems logical, but I didn't think it was happening as I have seen multiple times where a disc goes into ultra-secure reads, does the min # of ultrasecure reads, and then finishes with an accuraterip without re-ripping any frames. I have never had it stop at ultrapass 2 of 3...
