Problem with typing into "year" field

(dBpoweramp Reference 13, but also had this problem in R12)

When I try to enter information (year data) into the "year" field for each title of a compilation CD, it happens very often that the cursor "jumps" from one position to another into the tag field.

Example: I type 1968 and instead I get 9681 ... It seems the cursor often jumps back to the start of the line.

Someone else noticed this?

Which Windows version? also running any special window blinds type program?

Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista Home Premium.

I've now noticed that it happens when I start to type immediately after selecting the year field (or entering for jumping to the next track's year field).
When I wait a second or so, it doesn't happen ...
