Not using both processors in Bootcamp??

    Hi,

CD Ripper works fine when I boot my iMac into Windows Vista Ultimate (using Bootcamp), however, it does not use both processors!
They both appear in device manager and Vista correctly reports both processors but dBpoweramp is only using one.
    Any Ideas? It's an Intel Core2 Extreme X7900 @ 2.8GHz

    Thanks,
    Mark Morb

Using dBpoweramp Reference or Powerpack/free? Check dBpoweramp Configuration (See "Need to find your version?" below) for what version you have installed. Only Reference uses multiple processors.

Also ripping to which format? some lossless formats do not use multi-processors as the bottleneck is the hard disc.

        Hi,

Thanks for the responses....I am using "Reference".
I am ripping to FLAC. I have only recently converted to mac and spent many months prior to this ripping my CD's into FLAC on my old PC (Dual core processor), dBpoweramp happily used both processors on that...odd...
