    Rio logs growing and growing...

    Hi,

I have updated to version 13 reference and so far so good. The only thing I have noticed that is different is that my rip logs are growing and growing. They seem to contain all my previous rips plus the new rip. Prior to 13 I would get 1 rip log per disc that would contain only that disc. I'm sure it's something simple like a parameter I need to set but I haven't found it yet.

    Thanks,
    John

How do you have the logging set up? Check the setting at the bottom of the "Secure Settings" window. Personally, I have mine set to put a rip long in the folder with each album.

That's how I have mine set up. If I rip a 3 disc album I get three logs, One for each disk in the album folder as I expect. However, since upgrading to R13 each log contains not only the just ripped disc (as it did prior to R13) but the first discs of all of the rips since installing R13. The second log contains the data for all the second discs etc. The set-up looks to me the same as R12. What am I doing wrong?

      Thanks,
      John

Not sure, but that is not the case for me: my logs, after ripping multiple CDs, only contain the log for that CD. What is your logfile setting path?

          Report contents: Simple
          Write to file: Checked
          Log filename: [rippedtopath]Disc[disc]log.txt
Add to Information Log (shown after ripping): Unchecked

I have also tried it as
Add to Information Log (shown after ripping): Checked

            Try making it "[rippedtopath]\Disc[disc]log.txt"

Made that change and no change in the log behavior

What is your naming scheme for the CD ripper?

Also, try putting [album] or [artist] in the log rip path.

What parameters can I use in LogFilename, I nothing found in Help ,even [rippedtopath] or [disc], can use all Set file naming's elements?
