I've ripped 5 albums, all unsealed and new. I've just recently converted from EAC to dBpoweramp CD Ripper.
Here's the thing, I'm getting consistent errors somewhere in the middle of an album (usually the exact middle and around 1 or 2 tracks get re-ripped), but yet everything else seems to be secure.
I have the Samsung SH-152A and it supports C2, no cache, accurate stream, lead out, and maybe HTOA.
I've been using Ultra Secure: 3/6/2. Individual re-reads at around 50. This is because I think it doesn't support C2 as well. When I have C2 on, nearly the whole album has to get re-ripped, even if the CD is completely new. Thus I get all tracks having the Secure (Warning) label.
But if I turn C2 off, it seems to be fine giving me Secure checkmarks. The funny thing is that only 1 or 2 tracks are always getting re-ripped in the middle of the album. It's been like this for 5 straight new and clean CDs. I've been wondering if this is some sort of malfunction or if there's a possible way to fix this before I continue with the rest of my collection.
Anyway, great ripper! I love it. Thanks for reading.
