Setting for "C2 Error Pointers for Error Detection"

    I have a CD/DVD drive that does C2 error detection (Samsung SH-203B).

Is it best to check/enable "C2 Error Pointers for Error Detection" when using this drive with dBpoweramp reference? It seems like I read in an EAC guide to leave this disabled even when using a C2 error detection drive. Something about the drive might miss the errors and it's best to allow EAC to detect them. Maybe I misread something. And, maybe that's different for dBpoweramp.

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

It is different for dBpoweramp, any drive which supports c2 should have it enabled, use the test for c2 to detect it.
