    3 drives - 2 read ok keydisc - last one NOT !

    Hi,

    I have 3 drives ( 1 DVD reader, 1 DVD-writer & 1 CDR-writer)

Now 2 of them can be adjusted with several keydiscs I have, but for the last drive, which is an AOPEN 5232/AAO, is listed in the drives and for which an offset of +97 is given, I will allways get teh message that "Congratulations disc can be used for ...". So I click on configure. And then I get a message that the keydisc is not same as in database !!!!

Bizarre since both other drives can be configured using these discs !

What now ? Any explanation to that bizaerre behaviour ?

Note that using EAC the disc is correctly identified from FreeDB

    TIA !

I had the same thing happen to me. I was comparing eight different drives. I had the same key discs that worked with all but one drive.

I had to use three completely different discs to set the drive to accurate rip. in my case it was the Plextor BluRay drive.

once configured the drive gives accurate rips.
