    HTOA and Accuraterip

I now have 3 discs with confirmed HTOA but I have noticed there are no accurate rip info for these tracks.

I am assuming that is simply because HTOA is new to r13 and also the scarcity of HTOA discs.

I am curious if accurate rip does, or will be, supporting the HTOA tracks.

I hope it does/will because HTOA is notoriously difficult to extract, and with accurate rip backing up extractions, it will make it alot more re-assuring once the database starts to populate more.

For reference, the 3 discs I have are:

queens of the stone age - songs for the deaf
songs in the key of X - various (xfiles related)
    blind melon - soup

The first 2 had a large numbe of AR (for the normal tracks), while the 3rd had a handful. None of them had HTOA in AR.

I have ripped the discs successfully with 2 different drives:
    PIONEER - DVD-RW DVR-106D
    MATSHITADVD-RAM UJ-842

HTOA is not in AccurateRip, as many drives would not rip it consistantly.

Guess you mean "not in AccurateRip".

Teknojnky: Try re-ripping with dBp, see if you get same CRC (green colour).

Most drives will not be able to rip HTOA, but for those that can, is there any reason not to support it in AR (or maybe AR2)?

Discs are identifed on TOC and trackcount, you cannot shove a track 0 in there.

Yes sorry, HTOA is not in AccurateRip.
