unwanted "ratings" from AMG

When I put an album into my CD, CD Ripper gets info from AMG, including ratings. I have unchecked the "ratings" box in the meta options.

This is a constant (if minor) annoyance - these ratings mean nothing to me.

Why does this happen, and how can I turn it off.

Unchecking ratings means they will not be written to the final files, so you can ignore the rating column, or even switch it off.
