Errors When I try To Rip

Hi!

Ok, I haven't changed my config but dbPoweramp has stopped working. Whenever I try and rip any CDs I am getting these errors:

I thought it might be some software that I has installed so I tried numerous system restores, but no joy, so then I restored to a disk image from last month, still no change.

Only thing that I can think of now is that I did a BIOS update a few days ago. I'm on an Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi and the CD ROM drive is a Plextor PX-230A.

Any ideas? The drive is less than a year old and plays audio CDs fine.

I am really stumped by this one and rather disappointed.

Sorted!

JMicron controller switched to AHCI mode and all works now!

I wish I had made a backup of my original setup before restoring the old backup, nevermind though.

I had he exact same error
Not sure how to switch my CD player to AHCI - how is that done.

I have an OPTIARC-DVD RW AD-7170A.

AHCI would be specific to the guys controller, try instead CD Ripper >> Options and set Communication to Windows Internal.

I had the same problem,let the program check for drive read cache,whit mine it has to set to none and all the problems were solved.Hope it helps.

It appears to me, from the log files, that you've set your output directory somewhere on the E:\ drive. But the E:\ drive is an optical drive, not a hard drive.
