    Secure rip vs accuraterip

I have been ripping my music collection and everything that did not rip the first time when compared to accurate rip was set asside and has been cleaned and checked for scrateches.

I have a few cds in mint condition that when I rip (ultrasecure mode) I get the following

X AR (5) (green checkmark) Secure.

    Is this a good rip?

    Thanks

    Re: Secure rip vs accuraterip

It certanly should be. I have a few CD's that are remastered editions of the original, but since the tracklist is the same accuraterip cant tell the difference and thus it believes your rip is wrong because it differs from what other users has found. Also there sometimes seems to be small differences between euro and and US releases, or if a CD has been out of print and a new batch has been produced.
If I remember right Ultra secure does a minimum of 3 rips of each track, and if all 3 rips are identical the ripper marks the rip as secure. Hope this answers your question.
