Gapless signaling, best settings?

What is the best gapless signaling settings when I convert from flac to m4a? Play the files on my Sony Android telephone with USB Audio Player Pro. Sometimes I hear a short "click" between tracks. It can be an issue with the app too.

The encoder automatically writes gapless information, ensure using the latest version of dbpoweramp.

If you convert a lossless file to m4a (fdk), then back to a different filenamed lossless format (as a test only), the number of samples should match the source file, that shows the gapless is correct.

OK. What is the difference between the settings: ISO, iTunSMPB and iTuneSMPB & ISO?

Different standards for saving the gapless information, iTunes method is the most used.
