Batch File Converter problem in latest version

I've been using BFC to convert WAV file to FLAC for years with no issues. But, after recently upgrading to Reference Windows R2023, the program isn't working correctly. I get the error message:

    Error converting to FLAC, '\\DICK-SND2\My Music\Flash Dump [Working]\Mercury\PPS-6012 [Exciting Sounds]\Finished Audio Files\02 - Golden Earrings.wav' to '\\DICK-SND2\My Music\Xfer\PPS-6012 [Exciting Sounds]\02 - Golden Earrings.flac'
Error FLAC accepts only PCM audio source. [clEncoder_FLAC::BeginConversion]

As you can see in the message, the source files are definitely PCM WAV files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, in advance.

Your wave files are floating point, you would have to include the DSP effect 'Bit Depth' set to either 24 or 16 bit.

(assuming you have not already got that effect added, set to convert the wave file to floating point).
