I recently decided to switch to Opus as my main lossy format. However the replaingain tags generated when doing a batch conversion are not recognized by my music players. They are visibly there, but not applied on playback.
I only have this problem with Opus.
My previous lossy format of choice was Ogg Vorbis. Replaygain tags in those files work properly in any player I use. Other formats I use are FLAC and Wavepack for lossless, and on occasion MP3 when necessary. No issues with the replaygain tags for any of them, either.
I saw some discussion elsewhere about Opus' implemention of replaygain working differently than others. Maybe the issue is on Opus' side then?... I don't know.
