If I have a group FLAC files I want to bit-perfect convert to ALAC, is it necessary to go into dBpoweramp's advanced settings and set the m4a/mp4 decoder "Output (AAC)" setting to match the bit depth of the FLAC file? I usually rip CDs to FLAC and then convert them to ALAC so they can be played on my phone. 16-bit is fine for that but I also have some 24-bit HD downloads I need to convert losslessly with Batch Convert and I'm not sure if the CD Ripper settings interfere with this.
