Conversion of HD ALAc files for use with Sonos S2

    According to this page:

Sonos supports the following audio formats when streaming from your local music library.

Sonos now supports streaming HD music from local music files. However, I'm unable to stream my ALAC files and wondering if I can use the Batch Converter to adjust properties of the files to stream.

The article says Sonos S2 supports ALAC up to 24-bit, 48kHz with a bitrate of "Up to 1536kbps". For example, I'm unable to play this file:

Is there a way to to convert the above to a new file at 1536kbps bitrate using dbPoweramp?

Not with ALAC, there are no settings. You could try converting ALAC to ALAC and if you are lucky then the bitrate might come down, if it does not the only way to get it down is to lower the bitdepth or frequency.
