Batch Converter refuses to browse the network

I have an internal network at my home, including a couple of shares set up on QNAP NAS devices (Samba 3 as the principal platform).

Recently I have re-imaged my computer and re-installed dBpoweramp (16.6 release, 64-bit). Since then the Batch Converter refuses to browse network shares - when I click the plus sign next to the "Network" node, it freezes for a minute and does nothing. However, when I run it via the context menu for a network share it loads with this particular share - which is a proof it CAN connect to the network. I just can't figure out why it refuses to browse.

Can anyone suggest what kind of setting(s) should I check to resolve this?

You would be best to map the network share to a drive letter, right click on the share.

      Thanks, I know this trick!

However I had no issues with browsing the standard network shares before my machine reimaging, so I'd love to have this feature back...
