Why Can I Not Uncheck "No sub-folders"?

Hi,
I am trying to convert a large library with many subfolders. However, in Batch Converter, I cannot seem to uncheck the "No sub-folders" box at the top which I think is keeping the program from searching down the directory tree.
Is this a limitation of the trial version (which I just installed)?
