Multicore Conversion Not Working After Update

Since updating to R16.1 registered, batch conversions (flac to mp3) are defaulting to 1 core. I have to hit options and select 8 while converting. Prior to this 8 was the default? Tried adding the dsp effect for multi-cores (8) to force it but no go. What am I missing or what changed? Thanks

NVM, realized R15ref to R16ref was a paid upgrade. All good now.
