Linux under Wine - not seeing multi-core processing

I've eliminated all my windows PCs and moved to Ubuntu on all my machines.
I run dbPoweramp (and a few other programs) under Wine and while it runs without errors, it does not appear to use multiple cores as it used to do on my old W7 machine.

I am running 64-bit: Registered Reference Release 15.3, per Configuration page.
Any idea what I've got to change to get multiple core operation working?

        found it.

i needed to add the 'multiCPU force' DSP effect and select all the cores possible, now it runs fast as hell under linux/wine

i had assumed that linux would do that automatically, but all is fine now.

by the way, on an internal drive, 6i7 processor, DSP effect using all cores, i got 2198x decoding 240 files
