ID Tag Updater - DSP Effects Not Avaliable

Hi, been a user of the dBpoweramp suite of softwares for a while now, but I've had one issue that I have not been able to figure out for myself.

For context, Windows Media Player added small.jpg album covers to all my media sub folders and it was messing with my music players, so:
- I deleted all .jpgs in the directory.
- I used Batch Converter and its ID Tag Update function to export new, full size folder.jpgs.
- This caused "last modified" metadata to refresh to the current date.
- This caused Tune Fusion to require a re-sync of all music files - which is inconvenient due to the 200gb+ of media across 5 devices, lol

I was reading that there is an option for a DSP effect that retains last write metadata, but when I am using the ID Tag Updater in Batch Convert, the DSP effect button is greyed out.

Is there a solution to this problem that does not require the DPS effect?


TLDR; DSP effect option greyed out when using batch converter's ID Tag Update while trying to export new Folder.jpg for large directory of music already containing embedded album art.

Set Encoder as 'Test Conversion' and add the DSP effect 'ID Tag Processing' and set to export Folder.jpg

As a bonus it will decode all your files looking for errors.
