Conditional Encoding Problem - Tracks with Accents or Symbols are Converted Again

I have music files (mostly flacs and WAVs) on my desktop. I have a portable hard drive I carry around with limited capacity, so I use the Batch Converter to convert the desktop files into MP3s with the same folder structure on my portable drive.

I do this with Conditional Encoding - Action: Skip File, If Any Conditions Match: General: Destination Exists. Basically, the destination folder and files should exist if I've already converted them into MP3 previously.

Lately, some albums (the entire folder) and some tracks with accents or Korean characters are converted even though the files exist already. Sometimes, the file name still looks the same. With Korean characters, the characters in the second-time converted MP3s have lots of spaces between the characters.

It's inconsistent... sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Is there a workaround for this? Or another suggestion for accomplishing the same thing?

Trying to find the duplicates after every conversion session takes a long time because duplicates may end up in different folders.

I wish with Conditional Encoding, after selecting "Convert", it gives a list of the files that will actually be encoded, so I can sort by date and only click the albums I bought most recently. Right now, once you click "Convert", it will start converting right away without giving me the ability to vet the list first.

    Thank you.

There can be no duplicates, the name either matches or it does not. The tags must have changed, or filename changed for the files to not match.
