Batch Converter takes several minutes to open.

Just in the last week or so my Batch Converter started taking literally 2-3 minutes to open. It takes this long whether I open from desktop icon, menu, or the exe in file explorer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

It is the only program on my system that takes a long time to open.

This has been true for me as well over at least the last year. I always install the latest updates. Win 11 64 bit machine. Obviously rebooted machine many times over that time.

I don't see this behavior but I saw on another music software forum that the Windows 11 Smart App Control being enabled can create long delays in opening software, especially when Windows doesn't know it well. The recommendation that I saw there was to disable this functionality. It's not active on my pc and I get a few second at most delay in opening Batch Converter.

If running the latest version of dBpoweramp, open task manager before running Batch converter, run it and whilst it is stuck find it in task manager >> rc >> create memory dump file and send to me, email in about at the top.
