Results are put into Notepad and then immediately disappear

I am a registered/paid dbpoweramp complete package customer. I got it a couple of days ago. I am prepping to arrange my library and have been running the Audio Info codec in Batch Converter. After running for 20min+ it opens the results in notepad (TSV format) and then notepad disappears along with the data. Before I purchased, I noticed similar issues when pulling data using wrench icon at the top in one (or two) of the apps - I figured that was a limitation of the free version, but now I'm frustrated. A computer reboot did not fix it. I also had a similar issue (resolved by reboot for now) where clicking to open the folders on perfecttunes dedup would open explorer windows and immediately close them. I am running windows 11, the files are accessed via a share on a nas.

Note: I don't see any option to save the results directly to a file for Audio Info, which would have been preferred and likely avoided this particular issue.

    How to resolve?
    TIA

There is no reason for notepad to close, are you using a notepad replacement?, which windows version do you have?

Windows 11, regular notepad. I'm hoping there is a temp file with the data, but I haven't been able to find it. Is there? Where?

Below is my system info, if that helps.

Also, I just ran it again with both option checkboxes checked. After about 22min, it opened notepad, but never successfully populated it (that instance of Notepad is hung up [at least 15 minutes so far], but other instances are working fine).

Ok, Microsoft have changed Notepad, 20+ years of it working as it should, it no longer does, we have to keep the text file alive whilst notepad is shown...next update will fix.

About the notepad lockup, if you have lots of files, and word wrap enabled in notepad, then it will take a long time to show the text. Uncheck word wrap in notepad and close it.

Download Notepad++ and set it to replace the .txt association:

Okay, so Notepad++ worked better. It didn't close down automatically. I did an initial copy and paste into excel and some of the data was garbled (lowest circle), and it gave me the option to save it even though I guess the temp file was automatically deleted. I was able to open the file I saved in excel and don't see any garbled data so far.

              Thanks for your help.

Click the option to keep the file in editor, then click Save, to save to a .txt file. Then load the text file into excel.
