Converting FLAC to ALAC produces mickeymouse sounding music

    Hi,

The resulting ALAC files after converting my FLAC files, sounded like they are on fast forward. If I listen to the original FLAC file, the speed is normal. But if I listen to the resulting m4a file, it all sounded like mickey mouse on steroids. The sound is like fast forward sound.

    How do I fix this?

    Thank you.

are these FLAC files regular CD rips (16/44.1) as opposed to hi-res files (24/96 or 24/192 for example).
