Tags are disappearing from converted WMA files

I downloaded V15.1 of dbpoweramp and the Codec for WMA lossless. I tried converting a few folders of WAVs to WMA, but although the tags of the WAVs only read Unknown, now the tag fields are completely blank. Can anyone tell me why or how to fix this?

Tags which are 'Unknown' suggest there are no tags, the unknown placeholder is put there by players or servers.
