Flac to AAC what aac bitrate is equivalent to mp3 320

I am looking at making some AAC files converted from Flac files for playback on my ipod. I would like a bitrate that would sound good on a home stereo, car stereo, and through my earphones.

A good compromise between file size and sound quality, or a rough equivalent to mp3 256-320.

AAC about 192.

Use foobar2000 and abx component to test for yourself what level lossy is no longer transparent. You'll likely find that AAC at 160 or even 128 is fine for most music.
