no, just run it, select the files, then say convert. then a popup screen comes up and you have a dropdown menu where you select the codec/dsp for the method of conversion. This is where you choose mp3, flac, ID TAG UPDATE, etc. If you don't see ID TAG UPDATE in the dropdown, you need to install that dsp from the codec central at the top of this forum page. You're not actually converting in this case, just running the ID TAG UPDATE program to batch modify/edit the tags based on some formula. on the popup screen, there are several tabs related to what you want to edit/modify, etc. First time through you'll have a bit of learning curve to figure out right variables, etc. There are help buttons on that page to read for more info.Comment

Have you installed the ID TAG UPDATE codec from codec central (top of this forum page)? Once installed, batch convert to "ID TAG UPDATE". Once you're in that screen, look at the map/additions/deletions section and you'll need to play around with it a bit to get a feel for what it does. The red ? help button is supposed to provide some help info on that screen, but the help button is not working for me.
