convert unicode in id-tag?

I tried to convert files from alac to aiff. The album or artist in original alac id-tags are unicode. When I convert the files, all the converted aiff id-tag that original coded with unicode are all mess up with question marks. Does batch converter supports unicode id-tag conversion?

It was a bug which is fixed in the current R15 beta (see the testing section of this forum).
