LG TV ignores the browse tree

I cannot get my LG C8 TV to recognise any configuration of my Asset browse tree. It doesn't matter what I do, I only ever get a list of all my tracks, all 27000 of them. No ability to browse by composer or album. The only list view that the TV will show is 'Folder'. If I try any other list type, such as 'album', it tells me there are no files found. What is going on?

LG TVs are not compatible with Asset, they try to browse every folder in the browse tree, which means it will never complete, because of dynamic browsing. Asset has to protect the browse from this.
