Missing ID Tag "Style"

I use Asset UPnP version 7. In my library, I added in the Browse Tree the container "Style". In some tracks I specified some style keywords. Unfortunately, when I list the content of the ID Tad "Style", it is always empty even if I refreshed the library in the "Asset UPnP Configuration" window. What could I do?

... and what software did you use to add the style tags?

What player software are you using to view the empty Style? Can you provide more information re. your device setup, including OS platforms?

Try rebooting all devices then, in Asset Config select Refresh All.

Style is no longer indexed, you would have to add to 'MediaDatabaseFieldsv7a.txt', which platform is Asset running on?

See:
These are instructions for the Windows version. For Linux/Mac/QNAP, see below. Asset has the ability to display custom ID Tags (non-standard), with a little configuring. For example your FLAC library contains a unique tag of 'MOOD', you can add this to asset by: Start >> Run >> Regedit: Browse to:

Re: Missing ID Tag "Style"

As you suggested, I edited the ascii file 'MediaDatabaseFieldsv7a.txt', added my custom tag "Style" at the end of the file and saved that file. After that, I restarted Asset and refreshed my library. Unfortunately, my problem is still there...

I verified the characteristics of one track file (.flac file) which belongs to my library. With Explorer of Windows I can see that the tag "style" is defined and found the content of the field was good.

So, have you an other suggestion?

Do you have dBpoweramp? if so, right click on one of the FLAC files, is the style tag listed as style?

I use dBpoweramp. When I right click on the track file, I select "Edit ID Tags" and I can see the "Style" Tag with the keyword I entered.

If ID Tags views style correctly, perhaps your player software doesn't support style?

In the same folder as that file is uMediaLibraryMainDBv7a.bin if you look at Date Modified it was in the last few days?

The last item (jvtag) is a test I did to see if the tag appears in the library and the answer is yes. Could you tell me if the names of the tags are case sensitive?
