Upgrading Asset UPNP on Synology DSM 7

I have a virtual Synology DSM server that is still running DSM 6.2 and I run Asset UPNP on it very successfully.
I'd like upgrade the server to DSM 7. Should I uninstall Asset UPNP first before the DSM upgrade and then install the DSM 7 package for Asset, or can I leave alone, upgrade DSM and install over the top the Asset UPNP update?
