When I started using Asset (at least 8, but I think more than 10 years ago) the disk drive containing the media files had to be a non-removable drive. Has anything improved on that front? I am contemplating using a mini PC for Asset on Windows 10 Pro with a large capacity USB 3.1 drive for the media storage.

The drive has to be always present, it would not matter if it is a removable drive.
