Searching for artists or album titles

I recently installed Asset on a QNAP nas for use with a Naim Atom and two Naim Qb’s.
Content access and playback is via the Naim app running on iOS or Android devices.
Music is separately categorized as flac, mp3, and sacd.
Simple question.
When using the Naim app how can I search the content of the nas.

You would have to ask this one on the Naim forum, as it is the Naim app which would control searching.

If you're searching the NAS, Asset is your search engine.
The Naim app has limited search abilities, but for searching your NAS, Asset is far & away the best search engine - providing you have the metadata correctly tagged.

Question for you: Why have you filed FLAC, MP3 & SADC separately?

I have been encoding (ripping) cd&*8217;s for years starting at 128, then to 256, then to 320 and flac. I only have a very few SACD&*8217;s.
As hard drives got less expensive and capacity increased exponentially I ripped at higher bit rates.
To keep track I kept them in separate folders and in some cases no longer have all the cd&*8217;s.
Long answer.
I guess there is no way to do system wide searches while inside the Naim app for playback on the Naim amplifiers.

I see you on the Naim forum.
Rather than have two cooking pots I suggest we use Naim forum as it has more people that can help.
