Album art not displaying for newly added tracks

Hi there,

I notice that the expected album art is not being displayed on my renderer (Cambridge Audio CXN) for any new tracks that I have added.

The playback of the tracks is fine, but I don't understand why I am missing the album art.

Previous albums in my library display OK.

I am aware that this problem has been identified before, so I am using Asset 7.1 beta 5 which was alleged to cure the problem.

Any thoughts anyone?

Have you tried a full rescan (refresh all)?

Hello Spoon,

Yes I have done a full rescan and the feature is still there, unfortunately.

Thinking back, though, I added a few albums a year ago (John Coltrane, Dolly Parton) when I first noticed this.

I was unconcerned at the time, but it is affecting all new additions to my library.

My control point is the "Stream Magic" app for my CXN renderer, but this is probably irrelevant.

If you do a rescan all, then asset drops all art and re-reads the whole collection. If asset was not adding new art then all art would be missing, so either it is specific to your new files, or it is something to do with the stream magic app.

First step is to try a different control point, if you have a windows computer run this:

Thanks Spoon, I function in a MAC environment, so I guess I could try JRiver, or the like.

Is a MAC version of Asset control on the horizon?

Well I have a Linn LP12 and Linn CD player so I will give this a go.

I tried Kazoo with no joy I'm afraid.

However I will be patient and wait for the Mac version of Asset control.

Asset Control is not planned for the Mac, sorry.
