    Problem with adding custom tags

    Hi

I have just uploaded Asset Upnp (one month trial) on my NAS QNAP and I am not familiar with it.
I am trying to add a custom tag for classical music as explained in the guidelines but it fails, all my album disappear in the browsing tree, same for composer, genre....

    1. In Edit in database fields (advanced user only), I add "Soloists,0,NVARCHAR(150)" at the end, then apply
    2. In "Edit the browse tree as plain text", I add:
    Soloists{_a_to_z}{_no_track_list_}
    Soloists\Album
    Apply

I have probably missed something ?

The database structure has updated now, you should add:

    Soloists

    (just that)

      It works fine, thanks

I have another issue on the way the information are displayed on the Ipad:

The first line of the browse tree is "album". When I select album on the Ipad, some album are not properly shown

      For example:

Album name: Brahms - Piano Works [Grimaud]
      Soloists: Hélène Grimaud

The Ipad shows only the artwork with the name "Brahms" which is the name of the folder.
I would like to see the artwork and the name of the album "Brahms - Piano Works [Grimaud]"

For this album, the tag artist is not filled. I use it only when there is an orchestra

      Can you help me ?

You would have to look at the ID tags for that album, to ensure that the album name is correct. Also NAIM had an issue like you describe in shortening the album names a long time ago, I thought this was fixed in their latest updates.

          Thanks
Tags are correct, and they are shown correctly with Linn app.
With Naim app, many album name are shortened, it’s even worse with customized tags.
For some other reasons like volume control, I would like to keep Naim app and avoid switching between 2 apps.
          I will report to Naim
