Third Thunderbolt with Mac Mini

I use normally Asset UPnP on a Mac mini but since I have installed the third 4To Thunderbolt 2, Asset is not able to read correctly the files on it.
So I've changed the server for Linn Kazoo and all is perfect.
Could you tell me why ?

You would have to reconfigure asset and point it at the new location of the files.
