QNAP TS-231P2 Scanning finds wrong number of tracks/albums

Just upgraded my backup QNAP from ancient unit to a modern TS-231P2.
Installed asset 6.1 trial on the new QNAP and it finds wrong numbers of tracks/albums when I do a rescan all, with the number found reducing every time I scan.
Installed asset 6.2 beta 8 to solve the black album art problem reported by previous post on a 231P.
Didn't solve the problem with incorrect scan numbers.
done multiple restarts of asset. doesn't help

I'm also using Asset 6.1 on my separate media server QNAP TS-112 with no issues. finds 25k tracks and 1717 albums.
Ts-231P2 has been up to 1400 albums, and as low as 78.

Please follow these steps:

• Enable debug logging, apply settings
• Do 'rescan all', wait for it to finish
• Export configuration dump (normal), email to peter@dbpoweramp.com for analysis

Attempted fix for this issue included. If the bug persists, please send me another snapshot (same procedure).
